At our purpose built facility at Neath Abbey, we offer a recycling facility which processes a range of materials including:
• Subsoil/over burden
• Construction/demolition materials
• Wood waste for reprocessing
• Glass
• Excavated sand
The Welsh Assembly Government’s, “Wise about waste” (The national strategy for Wales) has a set target to re-use and recycle construction and demolition waste.
By 2010, their aim is to re-use and recycle at least 85% of construction and demolition waste produced, and to reduce commercial and industrial waste going to land fill to less than 80% of the amount landfilled in 1998. |
